The Grizzlies are Ridiculous

Grizzlies 84 Spurs 82 (at San Antonio)

Are you kidding? It's hard for me to express how much respect I have for a win like that. They overcome not only the injuries to Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift, but also the fatigue of playing a back-to-back. Oh, and did I mention that San Antonio is by far the NBA's best team at home? They had lost only once at home before tonight. Oh, and Tim Duncan had 27 points and 19 rebounds. And the Grizzlies shot just 38% from the field. Still, they won. Insane.

This team has little depth and has had to change so much of how they run their offense to compensate for the losses at the PF position. Still, they win. A ton of credit to Mike Fratello and his staff for coaching their asses off. Who among you thought the Grizzlies had any chance at all to hang tonight? If you did, you're either insane or an irreparable homer.

24 Spurs turnovers? That's what the Grizzlies do when they're at their scrappy best. Nothing more I can add. Well done.
