Yesterday, after a tough regular season (we just barely made the playoffs, sneaking in as the NL wild card team), and an even tougher playoff run (every series went the distance), the Cubs beat the A's 8-5 in Game 7 of the World Series!
It's over! It's over! The Cubs have done it!
Dontrelle Willis was immense in Game 7, going 8 strong innings of 1-hit ball. The bullpen was terrible in the 9th, but it was enough for the win. Now, season 2 of the Edmiston regime is underway. I'll let you know how it goes. Not that you care.
